MACKENCORE is a next generation engineered permanent wall construction method that can replace or reduce columns, beams, block work and plastering to create a highly efficient and cost effective building solution. HOW DOES MACKENCORE WORK?
MACKENCORE is a full shell and core system with all the design work (architectural and engineering), manufacturing and construction. The system is based on a permanent formwork process consisting of two fibre cement boards held together by a unique plastic stud, which determines the thickness of the wall. The panels are assembled cleanly and efficiently in the MACKENCORE factory and installed dry with 1st fix MEP embedments in place. The panels are then filled monolithically on site with reinforced concrete through an innovative pumping technology. Following completion and installation of the MACKENCORE shell and core system, the building is ready for MEP 2nd fix and finishes by third party contractors.
